Is it possibly to copy records to the source clipboard in one Legacy file, and
paste them to another file?
If so, how does one do it?

There is one obvious kludge that will work: make up a fake person,

NoteTab and re-copy. You have to open each source to physically copy
the information, you know, highlight, ctrl-c on and on. NoteTab makes
it easier with what they call a Pasteboard function. You don't have to
switch to NoteTab and Paste the info. If Pasteboard is turned on,
anything you copy or cut will automatically paste.
Hope it helps.

Short answer, no. Long answer, copy to an intermediate program like
NoteTab and re-copy.
