How to Get Rod of the ole2nls Problem in FTM 2005?

I am still running Windows98. I keep getting an error message which
says I need to load ole2nld.dll. But this file is alreay loaded. I
cannot leave W98 at the present time. How do I eiod mysle of the

This might fix it...

1) find the ole2nld.dll file with windows explorer.
2) Select the File
3) hold down the CTRL key and RIGHT mouse click on the DLL
4) You will see option _open with_, select that option.
5) Option to choose program to open file, bottom right, select browse
6) in the ?:\WIndows\system folder select the file regsvr32.exe
7) then open file.

this will verify that the ole2nld.dll is registered correctly with your
OS. If you still experience problems, FTM should provide you with a fix.

The "official" FTM Fix is: (and it worked for me years ago)

1. open control panel, regional settings
2. switch the setting to anything but what it is set on now.
3. Reboot
4. set the regional settings back to what it was.

I had already done this prior to my posting here. It is what is
recommended by the help file at FTM. It worked for a chort while then
started the same problem again. They say it is only an issue with W98
and Windows ME.
