Kristian Edvard Gudbrandsen, nevnt i FT 1865, 1875, 1900 & 1910 *

Greetings!

I am seeking information about my great great grandfather Kristian Edvard Gudbrandsen. He is listed in the 1865, 1875, 1900 and 1910 census.

I would love to know more about his parents. I also would like to know where his gravesite is. I have searched the gravesite database but so far have not found him.

His son Hans Gunerius Kristiansen, my great grandfather, emigrated to Wisconsin USA in 1880's.

Hans' brother, Kristian Kristiansen Opsahl stayed in Norway and is buried in Eidsvol Church cemetery.

I am going to visit Eidsvol in late May of this year to see my great-uncles grave and perhaps discover other relatives buried there. Perhaps someday even find living relatives!

I am learning more about the wonderful data resources available for this research, and am trying to become more proficient. If you have any suggestions for me they would be most welcome.

Dorothea Larsen Opsalengen died on 18 December 1918 and Kristian Gudbrandsen Opsalengen died two months later on 22 February 1919.

They were both buried in Eidsvoll, No 69 and No 9 here:

My great grandmother Maren Oline Kristiansdatter is Hans Gunerius Kristiansen Opsahl`s sister. 
So that makes us "Great-cousin`s"
