Does any one know of a gen. program that allows you to copy reports to a CD?
Would be a nice way to send data without printing. Much cheaper too.

You only need the gen. program to output the reports to files and they can all
do that. After creating the report as a file, it's simply a matter of using your
CD-burning software to create the CD. That process has become rather popular and
for some of the reasons you mention..

Some programs output to .pdf format, and you can also get auxiliary programs
that capture printer output and convert it to a .pdf file, which you can put
on a CD.

See

I use that for creating family group sheets and pedigree charts which can be
e-mailed to other family members to ask for updates, and all the need is Adobe
Acrobat reader, which is also a free download if they don't have it already.
