Fantastic. Thank you. I believe the Farm Rennemo is in the Malmboka, correct? Can you check for a Christopher Thomassen Rennemo born 1756 married to a Marit Jonsdtr. born 1759. Children with Marit: Sophia Christophersdatter b. 1782, Anne Margarethe b. 1784, and Thomas Christophersen b. 1788. He then married Jonetta Knudsdatter not sure on her birth year. They had a child: Bernt Christophersen Silderen b. 1804.

I believe the children from the first marriage ended up in the Selen Farm and of course the child from his second marriage ended up in the Silderen farm.

I have found a reference to your ancestor in the Malmboka on page 349, under the farm Rennemo. It is the only reference I have found about him. I do not read Norwegian very well, but it looks as though it’s a brief reference to him buying and selling the farm, which he seems to have owned for less than a year. This is exactly what the book says:
Ole Olsen brukte gården til 1778, da solgte eieren av dette klostergods, Henrik Hornemann, eiendommen til Jens Pedersen, etter skjøte dat. 22/2 1778. Den nye eier pantsatte straks garden til Trondhjem Vaisenhus for 200 rd., og videre pantsatte han til sersjant Melhus for 100 rd. Jens hadde garden I 6 år og solgte da til Kristoffer Thomasen for 418 rd. Kristoffer Thomasen pantsatte same år eiendommen til formynderen, sersjant John Valbiørn, Nils Christensen Grønnesby på Inderøen og Ole Nielsen Landsem. Han hadde garden til 1787 og solgte da til Ole Mortensen tessem, g.m. Magnhilde Arntsdatter, for 490 rd.
There is no other reference to him in Rennemo. I hope this is of some help to you.

That probably makes sense. He probably just lived there for a year. I am just trying to find out where he came from originally. Unfortunately the only other place I have him listed is in the Malmoe farm but that is in Bartnæss which would be part of the Beitstadboka.
