Ketil Olsen, f 1876 Mai 17, Tinn

Hei ~

We are trying to find the birth record of Ketil Olsen, who is said to have been born in Tinn on 17 Mai 1876. He married Gunhild Olsdtr and they emigrated to the US in Oct 1902.


I searched both the Tinn and the Dal church books, but have not been able to find any information on his birth and help would be greatly appreciated.

We had found the emigration, but I don't think that I would have ever found the birth record, as I did not know to check Hovin.

Maybe I will find the marriage there as well.

This is fabulous! I just got the Hovin bygdebok, and it has Kittel's family on page 144 and Gunhild's on page 147. And, I found Kittels Utflyttende record in the church books.
