Kongsberg, Gransherred

I'll try this again. I have found the following person's baptism records in Kongsberg parish records which is in the fylke of Buskerud.
BUT in the 1900 census, it shows Eystein living with his siblings and father at Lillebuen but the record is in
Gransherred , Telemark fylke???
What am I missing? Boundaries change? different family with exact name?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that Øistein (#5) baptised 11.07.1886 is the same person as Eystein Høljesen at Lillebuen Øvre in the 1900 census. I do have his ancestors in my data base as we are related.

Hello David, the Buen and the Lillebuen farms are situated in the Jondalen valley. Jondalen belonged earlier to Gransherad kommune in Telemark fylke, but in 1964 it occured great boundary changes for many "kommuner" in Norway, also for Gransherad. Upper Jondalen was transferred to Kongsberg kommune in Buskerud, while Gransherad kommune became a part of Notodden kommune in Telemark.
