Har nettopp fått en henvendelse fra England ang. Cal Fredrick Olsen. Han skal ha emigrert til England og giftet seg der. Denne karen jeg har fått epost fra vil gjerne vite litt mer om sin forfar. Viser et utdrag fra eposten her:
My great grandfather, Carl Frederick Olsen, was born in Norway, about 1845, unfortunately we don't know in which town he was born ,the only information we have is as follows.
He married in England, first of March 1881, Barrow in Furness, Lancashire, Ada Mary Mineur.
Carl was a sailor, in the British merchant Navy, and was drowned at sea, in the vessel Labrador, which went down on a voyage from Canada to Newcastle on Tyne, in 1885,
He was a naturalised British subject, on board the vessel Bruce, in Glasgow 1881 census, born in Norway.
We have no further information on where he came from apart from the above.
