Ole Olsen was born about 1652. He was married to Johanna Johansdatter about 1680. Ole Olsen is listed in the 1701 census as living at Liland. He died there before 1708 because Johanna Johansdatter of Liland appears in the Hamaroy church records when they begin as a widow in 1708. After extensive research, it seems that Ole Olsen is either the son of Ole Asbjornsen of Overeng, who appears as Ole Olsen 14 of Overeng, or the son of Ole Olsen of Aasen, who is listed as Ole Olsen 15 of Aasen in the 1665 census.
