Where did the name Lie come from?

Sorry to flood the forum with Lie family questions but you guys are so much faster and efficient then I could dream to be.

Here's my question. Does anyone have an idea as to where the last name Lie came from in this family?

The first time the name comes up is when they are living on the Nerli farm in 1910.

In 1900 they had the name of their farm of Ødeli.

So any theories on where the Lie came from?
