Her er familien FT1910
http://da.digitalarkivet.no/ft/person/pf01036383002435/

Here is the burial [begravet] information for son, Lawrence and Guttorm/Gus’ wife Violet Gladys.
Last Name HANSEN First Name Lawrence Dates 1938 - 21 Feb 1975 Remarks Son ss Violet Gladys & Guttorn (Gus) Plot Number E,033,03 Cemetery Didsbury Cemetery
Last Name HANSEN First Name Violet Gladys Dates 1899 - 21 Mar 1980 Remarks Mother ss Guttorn (Gus) & Lawrence Plot Number E,033,02 Cemetery Didsbury Cemetery
Both of them are buried in the Didsbury Cemetery, Didsbury, Alberta. I haven’t been able to find burial information for Guttorm/Gus but it appears there was a place waiting for him with Lawrence and Gladys in the Didsbury Cemetery. I don’t know when the survey was done on the Didsbury Cemetery so he may have died after that.
On the site Our Future Our Past at http://www.ourfutureourpast.ca/home.htm
Searching in the Local Histories [lit like Bygdeboker] in the book:
Echoes of an Era Author Kinette Club of Didsbury
Publication Information Didsbury: Didsbury Booster, 1969
Here is a direct link to an article written by Mrs. Gus Hansen http://www.ourfutureourpast.ca/loc_hist ... id=3541887
Most of it is about her birth family – she was the daughter of Levi Seibert. The last paragraph on page 172 is about her family with Gus.
Also on the site Our Future Our Past Searching in the Early Alberta Newspapers in the Olds Gazette I found an obituary for Lawrence HANSEN who died 17 February 1975. I have attached a jpeg of that.
The 1980 Olds Gazette is not on-line so I could not find an obituary for Violet Gladys.
Lawrence was living in Grande Prairie, Alberta when he died. The Grande Prairie branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society has indexed the obituaries from their local newspapers and here is what it shows for Lawrence:
HANSEN, Lawrence; 37; Edmonton AB; DHT; 1975-2-25
Here is a link to their home page http://gp.abgensoc.ca/
The Alberta Genealogical Society may well have, or can find further information on the family including an obituary for Violet Gladys and perhaps even death information for Guttorm/Gus. You can contact them for Research Assistance at http://abgensoc.ca/research.html
If you do contact them, please tell them that I, Adele, suggested you get in touch with them. I can let them know what I have found so far.

Hi.
A big thank you Adele.
This will please my wife a lot. She has no information that Lawrence has two sons.
This means that maybe there are descendants of the family in Canada.
Thank you again.
I will now read your post again carefully.
PS. I am researching my wife's family and is now back in the 1700's in Norway.
Maybe we can sometime in the future share this information with the "Canadian branch".

)
Lift this up again. (Had forgotten it when I reconstructed my files after a datachrash.

When Lawrence Hansen died in 17/02/1975 he left behind a wife and two sons as follows.
Wife: Karen Hansen born Woods from Montreal. Married to Lawrence 02/07/1965 unknown location.
Sons: Randy Hansen f. 02/07/1965 and Terry Hansen f.02.02.1968
I suppose both are born in the Grande Prairie, Alberta area.
I guess everyone is alive today so send me a PM if anyone knows these people.
The information will be used in a private family tree.
