Translation help needed - Norwegian - Dansk Norske?

Is there anyone here who is kind enough or brave enough to help me with
this. I have been trying to translate the following information from a
detailed genealogy of the Benkestokk line; and need help with some of the
words and in particular some of the titles of nobility. The words are in
brackets [ ]:

The family's best known member is Trond Benkestokk (Torleivsson). Trond is
mentioned from 1525 until his death 14. february 1558. The first name was
normally written Trondh, Trond or Trund. The titles of coat of arms 1534,
armorbearer 1532-1547, perhaps still in the 1550's, honest and [fornumstig]
man 1539, velfornumstig man 1555, good man 1541, poor [riddersmandsmand] of
Nordland 1541, riddermandsmand 1547 (no longer poor), of herr Claus Bille
discussed who [«dend acteste and forstandeste] nobleman, som er der Noren
fiæls» 1541. These titles of nobility had not been given to him, but
inherited, starting with the titles high-born man 1541, honest and high-born
man 1557 and well-born man (welgeboeren man) 1543. The titles which [oppgir
byrd,] i.e. rank and order gained with birth, was more exclusive than the
title of armor bearer (or squire).

Slektens best kjente medlem er Trond Benkestokk (Torleivsson). Trond nevnes
fra 1525 til sin død 14. februar 1558. Fornavnet ble normalt skrevet Trondh,
Trond eller Trund. [Tituleres av våpen] 1534, væpner 1532-1547, kanskje
ennå i 1550-årene, ærlig og fornumstig mann 1539, velfornumstig mann 1555,

nb "å" is a newer invention = "aa" !!!
