Macintosh genealogy software

Legg inn av Bob Freedman » 7. september 2004 kl. 4.21

I just purchased a second hand copy of Family Tree Maker Deluxe II,
for Macintosh and am wondering, if anyone might have used it in the
past or still be using it? Production of it was discontinued four
years ago but it was recommended to me as good beginner's program and
I have a few questions about using it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You would do very well to buy Reunion for Mac. Better than _any_ other
genealogy program I've tried, and I've tried most or all of 'em.
Not cheap, but excellent program, ongoing development (which FTM does
not have for Mac), great workflow & features, and rock-solid stable.
http://www.leisterpro.com/ is where you can find it, or Apple Store
retailers carry it as well. You can download a runnable demo from
their site, by the way - seeing the demo of Reunion made my purchase
of a Mac that much easier.
