PAF 5

Legg inn av Work house Master » 14. august 2004 kl. 2.58

I have been using PAF 5 for several years, and have printed out many reports
and backed up as necessary. I now find that when I go to print "Family Group
Records" I receive the warning " A sharing violation occurred whilst
accessing ......

I have done back ups, but the report comes up "not a PAF file".

What has gone wrong? Any assistance would be appreciated.

TIA

If you think the problem is PAF, rather then your printer (i.e. you can
print from other programs) you might want to check your datafile for
errors: From PAF, click the File-menu, then choose "Check/repair...",
and click the Check-button. If PAF reports errors, click the
Check/repair button in the same screen. Make a backup before you use
the repair-option!

I have done back ups, but the report comes up "not a PAF file".

You probably get this message when you try to open a PAF backup? Choose
"Restore..." in the File-menu to get to your backup, not "Open...".

Good luck!
