Der satt kirkeboka endelig!!! Det gjode den visst ikke likevel. Hvis noen har behov for innførslen, så finnes den i Aust-Agder, Arendal, Øyestad ministerialbok A15, 1857-1873, udflyttede-1871, folio 407.

Sara Taraldsdatter Haugaasdalen, født 28.08 1842, gift 10.07.1868 med Asbjørn Terjesen Arneberg, født 1842, emigrerer til Minneapolis med deres to små barn Terje og Tarald samt sin bror Kittel Taraldsen, i 1871. Sara og Asbjørn får tildelt land og de begynner som bønder.
Adressen er: Town of Mounds View. 391 Rice Street. St. Paul. Minn.
Sara går bort antatt 1888. Asbjørn gifter seg igjen og får iallefall 5 barn med den nye kona.
Disse barna interesserer ikke i denne omgang.

Av korrespondanse fra dem til "gamlelandet" er bevart 6 brev fra 1874 til 1887. Disse gir litt forvirrende opplysninger i forhold til de barna de får, samtidig som de barna jeg antar er gått bort som små, ikke nevnes i brevene i det hele tatt. Samtidig tror jeg to av jentene har dobbeltnavn, noe som også forvirrer.

Det jeg har er som følger: Terje, f. 13.04.1869 død liten. Tarald, f. 21.09.1870 død liten.

Emma Ingeborg (ubekreftet dobbeltnavn, begge navn nevnes) f. ca. 1872, gift før 1898, de skal bo i Minnesota i 1898.

Ida Olive (ubekreftet dobbeltnavn, Ida nevnes) f. ca. 1874, gift omtrent i 1898 og skal da bo i Montana.

Tarje, f. ca. 1876. gift???

Kittel Bertinius, f. 1879 gift sannsynligvis 2 ganger med Lillian? og den andre vet jeg ikke navnet på.

Taly (den tredje Tarald?) f. ca. 1883, gift??

Det jeg søker er de genealogiske grunnopplysningene på Sara og Asbjørns barn og ektemaker, samt når Sara og Asbjørn døde. Finnes noe om deres barnebarn som popper opp, er det og artig, men ikke nødvendig.

Where are the two older children?

I think they died in infancy because Terley is wrong writing for Tarje and Taly is american way of Tarald. Sara and Asbjørn lost their two childen who was born in Norway, and when they got new boys, they gave them the same names.
