i need some help im in australia and am looking for my great grand father on my mums mum side his name was johan larsen born in vestre baerum 4 may 1868 married karen marie gudbrandsdatter on 24 july 1891 in honefoss they had children in honefoss in 1892 1895 1897 1903 and 1905 in honefoss yet i cannot find them in the census of 1900 in honefoss does any body know why that could be have checked other places in census but nothing johans parents and brothers and sisters are in honefoss census living at ulleraals vaaningshus 1 gade 17 their names are lars jjohannessan and karen johansdatter born in lier buskeru and baerum in akershus i cannot understand why i cant find johan and karen larsen in the 1900 honefoss census yet they had all these kids there in the 1900 's my mums mum name was ragna marie othillie larsen born 8 june 1903 honefoss my mums name was tove randveig johansen born 1 november 1939 in oslo

Anmerkning means ;remark or comments.

Johan was confirmed in Hønefoss church in 1882, but he was born in Skuieiet close to Asker , and christned in Asker Church 4 july 1869.
His parents was lars Johannessen and Karen Johansdaughter.
I couldn't find them married in Asker church.

Karen Marie Gulbrandsdaughter was born and christned in Haug church in Norderhov in 1869. The family was living in Holmestuen in Haug parish when she was born. Gulbrand Olsen the father was 23 years and Marie Johannesdaughter was 23 when Karen was born.

When she got confirmed in Haug parish 1883 she was living in Skaugstadeiet.

I can't find them in Census , so there have been a miss, that is quite normal.

lars and karen got married 21 april 1867 in asker parish in akershuse and lars died 20 july 1914 in honnefoss unsure why johan does not appear in the 1875 census as he was probably in vestre baerum at that time or in the 1900 census as he was definately in honefoss as was his dad and mum and brother martin born 1872 in baerum he had another brother named gustav born it says in the 1900 census in walle!! buskerud in 1878 does anybody know where walle is and can anybody tell me why buskerud never had a 1875 census

Yes Lars and Karen got married as you wrote. Lars was a widower. He had been married once before . In 3.may 1863. He was born in Lier in Buskerud county and Karen was born in West Bærum, Jahreiet. Her father was Johannes Olsen.

Lars got married first time 3 may 1863. It was a girl from Asker, named Karen Johanne Borgersen. She was 24 years and Lars was 25 years.

Karen died when she got their first? baby. She died 14 dec. 1863. The daughter was christned in Asker Church 27 dec. 1863. I cann't find her in 1865.

I'm not searching so well after the Borgersen family, but her fathers name was Borger Andersen. I know that she got alteast two brothers;Ander and Johan. They both lived in i place called Frognerhagen in Asker area in 1865.

When Lars Johannesen died in 1914, the magistrate listed his heirs in the Death Announcement.
From the first marriage Lars had a daugter Johanne.
She was married to Kristian Evensen, Hornseie, Lier.

Walle is not a parish name in Buskerud, it might be a farm name. In that case it would have been spelled Valle, not Walle (or walle).

The census for Buskerud county 1875 is kept at the Regional Archive in Kongsberg.
