I'm trying this again since I misspelled Davenport in the subject line
of my first post.

I have been researching both the Langtons and the Davenports. I've
been searching through Chetham Society's publications that I have
found on google books, and I have found a pedigree for the Langton
line [Abstracts of Inquisitions Post Mortem, Made by Christopher
Towneley and Roger Dodsworth, Vol II, pg.95], which mentions Agnes and
her father John de Davenport. I have found plenty of John de
Davenports, but none of the information on the Davenports mentions
Agnes.

I did find a Pedigree chart (found at
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nvjack/d ... enbury.pdf)
that mentions an Agnes, daughter of John de Davenport of Wheltrough
(or Henbury), second son of Thomas de Davenport of Wheltrough, and
John's second wife Margaret. (His first wife was Elizabeth Legh
according to this pedigree.) It says that Agnes was living in 1375,
was a twin of Ellen who died young. The Agnes Davenport who married
Henry de Langton died sometime after 1439 according to the Abstracts
of Inquisitions Post Mortem. I'm wondering if anyone has any proof
that these two Agneses are one and the same, or not.
