Has anyone on the list done any research on these surnames? I have a Patrick MacGregor 1607 married to a Marion MacDonald abt 1600. The parental line of Marion is dubious, since I can't find any verification and their descendants are hard to track because of the MacGregors not being allowed to use their surname. I need to tie them to a son named William MackGayHaye, which evolved into McGee.
