Hello Leo
Yes Boson II (m. Adenordis or Alienor de Thouars) was Aimery I de
Châtelleraut's father. The Isle Bouchard connection seems to be the
accepted one. Do you know what it's based on?
============ES III/4 813 calls Aimery's wife Dangerose-Maubergeone daugher
of (Berthelemy, Seigneur de L'Isle-Bouchard) indicating they are not totally
certain.Georges Martin, is certain in his book. Weiss "Ancestral Roots" 7th
Edition, page 157 is also certain and gives Dangerose's mother's name as
Gerberge.

The author of the article I cited uses circumstantial evidence
stemming from the name of Aimery and Amauberge's youngest son, Raoul
de Faye, who was originally known as Raoul de Montfort. This possible
de Montfort relationship surely has to be explained.
======ES III/4 813 Gives Aime4ry and Dangerose two sons and three
daugfhters.
The second son does not have the name Montfort attached to him. Raoul is
seigneur de Faye-Le-Vineuse, I think this property came with his wife as he
married Elisabeth de Faye, daughter and heir of Aimery de Faye, Seigneur de
Faye. They are shown with son Raoul, next Seigneur de Faye who dies
unmarried, and four other children.(two daughters who married)

Hope this helps?
With best wishes

Is this book accessible by internet? Alternatively, do you know what
primary source Martin basis her parentage on?

Yet the article references the Cartulaire de l'abbaye de Noyers, n°
CDLXVI, dans Mémoires de la Soc. Archéol. de Touraine, t. XXII, 1872,
p. 498-499 as the source giving his original (unmarried?) name as
Raoul de Montfort.
