Does anyone know of Transactions - East Riding Antiquarian Society vols
18 (1912) and 19 (1913) being available on the web.
There is a snippet view with Google Books but is too brief to be
informative. I am specifically interested in an article "Documents
at Burton Agnes" by C V Collier that may shed some light on the early
generations of the Kelk(e) family of Great Kelk in the East Riding
and later of Barnetby-le-Wold in Lincolnshire. The Kelke pedigree given
in Maddisons Lincolnshire Pedigrees I believe errs in generations
prior to Walter de Kelk (living sometime from late thirteenth century
into early fourteenth). There are many internet references to Walter and
his forebears in various on-line pedigrees including giving him a middle
name or alternative surname of Goddard almost all with no references.
The Collier article cites quite a number of documents regarding the
early Kelk(e) manor and family. I am hopeful that there may be something
more substantial as to the early Kelk(e) family than is currently given
in secondary sources.

There are a number of hits on A2A for Walter de Kelk referencing
documents in both West Yorkshire and East Riding archives. Maybe some
of these are the actual originals referenced by Collier. Maybe if you
cited the references the archives would be able to send you copies or
transcriptions.

Searching for "de Kelk" brings up a number of other names.

Sadly I couldn't see anything which established a God[d]ard connection.
I'd be grateful for anything you can share in that line.
