I'm following my BRIGGS ancestors, and wonder if anyone has anything on the ALLERTON line. All I have is Edward (c1555-1590) married Rose DAVIS (c1559-1596), lived in London, and his father might have been William from Devon. Their descendents married into families named VINCENT and DEXTER. Any clues or suggestions as where to look will be appreciated.

To my knowledge the Allertons parentage is not known. Isaac Allerton
of the Mayflower and his sister, Sarah (Allerton) (Vincent) (Priest)
Godbertson have never had their parentage proven.

Sarah is not the mother of John Vincent of Sandwich, Mass. anyway.
