Surname Suggestion List Software

I have written a genealogy program (Surname Suggestion List) to make
it easier to search the internet for a particular surname and other
surnames which sound like that surname.

I would appreciate it if you would download the program and give it a
try. Be sure to use the additional search terms and the wider search
option for better results.

Had a look at your site and your screenshot. You say "The lists are based
on how good a sound match the other surnames are to the one you entered."

Why then is MAURICE considered a "Longshot". MORRIS and MAURICE are
pronounced the same in UK (maybe not in France). Didn't see MORRICE in
either "Excellent" or "Close" and this is a pretty common variation. Can
only assume this is a Longshot as well (screenshot doesn't go down far
enough. If I said my surname was MORRIS I'd bet you wouldn't know which of
these 3 variations was the correct spelling. How good are other names -
this one is c**p.

Good idea if it works. I don't normally just click on "Download Now"
buttons though.

would suggest you download the program, and give it a try. It's hard
to judge a program, by just one sample screenshot.
