Halvorsen, Anthon and Oluf Wilhelm born in Stromso

Anthon Halvorsen was born to Hans Halvorsen and Anne Malene Jacobsdatter, in the Arkivverket for Stromso 1848-1858, on October 24, 1856. I believe he was a seaman.

Oluf Wilhelm was born April 5, 1861 to the same parents. I don't know what he worked at.
I have pictures of these men taken around 1893 shortly before their mother died. Their father was a ship captain and died at sea in the fall of 1866.
I have searched the Arkivverket and can only find records of birth. Any information would be appreciated. Reply in English or Norwegian, I can read it, but not write it.

What specific info are you looking for on the brothers Anthon and Oluf Wilhelm ? At census 1865 they were staying with parents and siblings in Drammen and at census 1900 their younger siblings Inga and Jacob with his family were also living in Drammen .

Anthon got his church confirmation Oct 15 1871 (# 9) in Strømsø church and Oluf Wilhelm Apr 23 1876 (#17) in the same church .

I have only found the information that is in the census that you refer to, as well as the confirmation information.
Recently I found information through Hof area that states there is an older brother Hartvig Hjalmer born Dec 1, 1854, before his parents were married.
What I am trying to find is information such as, marriage, children, death and burial.
I am the youngest of my siblings, my grandfather was Jacob Emil Halvorsen the youngest brother in the family of Hans and Anne Malene Halvorsen. Both of my grandparents were dead when I was born, it wasn't the practise of my mother and her family to record alot of information about their Norwegian family, this is unfortunate.
This past spring I was in Norway and was able to make contact with cousins on my grandmother's side in Arendal and Grimstad. So, I am trying to find out what I can on my Grandfather's side of the family. I know my Great Grandfather's name was Halvor Hansen Roeqvaerne (my computer doesn't allow me to use Norwegian alphabet in this program so you will have to interpret the correct o with a slash and the joined ae letters. He lived in the Kongsberg, Hedenstad and Modum area in the 1780-1860 era.
I realize that the name Halvorsen is very common in Norway and the old surname changing makes research very interesting.
If you can be of any help, I would appreciate whatever you can do.
