Help me find Alnes and or Sletta in Grytten

I apologize, I can't read Norwegian. I am looking for help searching my ancestors who may have come from Gryten. My great grandmother's name was Beret Alnes, she immigrated to the US from Norway in 1879 or 1880 when she was two or three years old. Her birthdate was 22 Dec 1877. Her mother's name was probably Marit. Beret's death record in California states that her mother's maiden name was Sletta. Her father's name may have been Sivert Sivertson. Her mother's name may have been Marit Larsdatr.

I am led to Gryten as her birthplace because a the Digitalarkivet website listed a Beret and a Marit Alnaes emigrating from Bergen in the right year, with the right birthyears.

I have the persons you are looking for in my database. Berit Marie Syversdatter Alnes was daughter of Syver Syversen Skiri and Marit Larsdatter Brøste (as you also found out). Since they emigrated, I don't have any descendants of that family, but I can send you an ancestor report of Berit Marie Syversdatter Alnes if you like. I have a few more generations back in time for that family

Our common ancestors were Lars Rasmussen Brøste and Elen Amundsdatter Brøste (both born early 1700).
