Saving all notes from PAF5

With PAF 2.31 I always used the NOTES.DAT file under Win98SE.

How can I save my notes from PAF5 so I can edit them under WinXP?

If you really need to edit notes outside of PAF, it seems that the method
would be:
1. Export to GEDCOM
2. Edit the notes within the GEDCOM
3. Import back into PAF.

(Be sure that you understand the use of CONT/CONC tags if you edit the
GEDCOM file notes heavily).

Not sure I know EXACTLY what you want to do. Do you want to save
individual notes, and then import them back into the prgram?

You can edit your notes in the note window in PAF. If you want to do
spell check or formatting or just have separate note files for each person,
you would copy and paste into a text editor or word processor. However,
fonts and bolding and so forth will not be saved when you copy and paste
back into PAF.
