computer error message

Yesterday while using OE the above error message appeared and my computer
shut down and re-started. What caused this error message?

Fred,

It appears to be a bug that microsoft have introduced through one of
their security fixes. If you have automatic update switched on that
should fix it with a newer version. Otherwise download this fix and
install it:

Another possibility is it culd be a worm trying to get into your
system. Do you have a firewall program? Also make sure your antivirus
software is up to date.

Thank you for the information. I have downloaded the update/fix. I do have
a firewall and will immediately run a total scan on the computer.
