Trefoldighet church in Oslo 1902

Legg inn av dn09189 » 21. august 2006 kl. 22.35

I am looking for information on a marriage that happened in this church on 23 August 1902 (this according to a marriage record in the Bakke church records of Trondheim). Albert Marius Sollie married Eugenie Josefine Lovisa Tonnesen?(Jonnesen)
I would like to find as much information as possible about Eugenie. It seems I can't find the scanned records for this time, this church on the Digitalarkivet.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
David Vinge

Hi!

To get the right links to the scanned churchrecords, you have to find the "permanent" pagelink

this is the right link for the page:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... x_side=-68

this is a link to the image.
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 040752.jpg

this is the wrong link, so you can see the difference:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... id=ny&idx_ side=-68

Here you can see how to make a permanent pagelink

Thanks for the info. I don't know how I missed that page but maybe it showed up recently! I was wondering if you could look at that page again and assist me with the following questions. I have sent them also to Tove Dahl Johansen who answered my earlier question via email.
I'm not sure if you have had much experience with the parish or scanned records but was wondering if you could advise me on some things.
The marriage of Albert Marius Sollid and Eugenie Josefine Lovise Tonnesen was #147 on 23 Aug 1902 (p.63).
It says her father is ??? Kontorist Johan Svendsen Overland. Not sure why Eugenie's last name is Tonnesen as her "father's" name has neither "Tonne" as first or patronym???? Also is there anyway to tell if the fathers are alive or passed away at the time of the marriage.
She is confirmed in ? Aker in 1887. Do you know which parish that is? Ostre Aker or ???? The ? looks like a G but I'm not sure. I looked briefly at the Aker name in "Oslo" scanned pages but nothing seemed to show 1887 confirmations.?????
I am trying to find information from earlier on but haven't had much success with 1875 or 1865 census.
Any advise/direction you might have for me would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
David Vinge

Hi again!

I think it says that she was baptised in Ø. Aker and confirmed in Gl. Aker (Gl. = Gamle). None of these books are at the moment available online. She is living in Trondheim when she gets married

Sometimes I've seen statements that the father has died, but I do not think you can use the information about "kontorist Johan Svensdsen Øverland" to say anything about whether or not he is still alive.

I definitely agree with Per Harald Jonson - she was baptised in Ø. Aker (Østre Aker) and confirmed in Gl. Aker (Gamle Aker)

Hi David.

Eugenie Josephine(a) Lovise(a) born in Grünnerløkken 15 of february 1871, baptised 4 of February 1872 in Østre Aker.

Widow Mathilde(a) Magdalena Tönnessen, Bachelor Contorist John Svendsen Øverland. Xania(Kristiania) Hun logerer paa Kampen(She lives/stays in Kampen -( it is an area in Kristiania. )
Goodfather/Goodmother: The Childs Father - John Svendsen Øverland, Arnt Torgersen, The Childs Mother, Maiden/Maid Maren Torgersen.

It is written something else too, but it´s too small letters for my eyes - it´s coming later.

This found in Churchbook Østre Aker Mini 3 1869 - 1875 number 8, page 167.

There you got the answer for Tönnessen.

The commentary in small print goes - as far as I can read it - :

Cfr. om Barnemoderen min Skrivelse til Foged Eger af 22.1.72, indført i Copibogen.
Opgaven er skeet af Contorist Svendsen Øverland, Fredensborgveien No. 61.

So then at least there is information about an address for J. Svendsen Øverland.

Hi,
I can see the address for Johan but what does the first part mean?
"Cfr. om Barnemoderen min Skrivelse til Foged Eger af 22.1.72, indført i Copibogen.

Hi David.

Sorry, we forgot to wrote it in English

About the childs mother my letter to Bailiff Eger of 22.1.72 written in the Copybook.
It´s reported by Clerk Svendsen Øverland, Fredensborgveien number 61.

Fogd is bailiff - Bailiff was often both the police/sheriff and the tax collector.

In cases children born when parents was not married someone had to tell the prist/bailiff - very often this was the father or the brother of the childs mother.

The baptism and confirmation of Eugenie are now online.

You will find her baptised as number 7 in Østre Aker, Ministerialbok nr. 3 (1869-1875), Fødte og døpte kvinner 1872, side 167.

and confirmed as number 68 in Gamle Aker, Ministerialbok nr. 7 (1882-1890), Konfirmerte 1887, side 84.. In the confirmation record her father is stated as ungk. = ungkar = bachelor and her mother as enke = widow.

Eugenie was confirmed together with one of my relatives, Marius Gjersøe (number 4, some pages earlier). I've looked for him without success and now I found him by looking for your Eugenie.

Hope I got the links right this time ;-)

Regards, Per Harald
