I recently purchased the Legacy 6 Deluxe program. With one of my ancestors I
entered all information on his second wife (through which I am descended)
before entering information on his first wife. Now reports list his second
wife as his first marriage and vice versa. Is there a way to correct this
without deleting everything and starting over?

Re: Legacy 6 Deluxe question
In article <[email protected]>, [email protected] says...
In the wife's display window, there is an icon that looks like 2 people. It is
the first one from the left. It should have the number 2 attached. Click on
that icon and, in the lower right corner, find up/down arrows. These allow you
to reorder the spouses.

Re: Legacy 6 Deluxe question
Tammy,
Right hand click on your ancestor. Left click on View -> Wives List. The
resulting box has a sort button. Legacy will sort the data by order of
marriage date.
BTW, this holds true for all other lists, like children.
Left me know if if helps.

The reports and webpages pick up the order of the spouses in the
individual's Spouse List. It doesn't matter what dates you put in or
which spouse is the preferred list. You need to click on his spouse
icon and you can order the spouses from that window.
