On Vesterheim museum on nett, and also in the book from 1907 written of Martin Ulvestad, "Norwegian in America" is there several people from Ringerike that have been in the civil war. I have controll on most of them, but someone is not known, I ask therefor for help to find out who these is.

Anders Solberg was according to Ulvestad from Ringerike. He lived in Housten County, Minnesota and and died during the civil war.
John and Ole Steen was according to Ulvestad from Ringerike. They lived in Steen Rock county, Minnesota and both died before 1907.
Christian Olsen Sundalen was according to Ulvestad from Ådal, Ringerike. He came to Minnesota, but was living in Milton ND before he join the Spanish-American war. He was on the Phillipnes and stayed there after the war
Andrew Thompson was according to Ulvestad from Ringerike. He lived in Lanesboro, Minnesota.
Herman Thoreson was according to Ulvestad from Ringerike. He was in Wisconsin 15th Infantry Company B. He lived in Maddison, Wisconsin. He was catch as a prisoner at Stones River in 1862. I 1864 came he to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
I hope someone recognize some of these names.

Re: People from Ringerike in the Civil War, America
Fantastic

Thank you to all of you.
There is prox. 45 people from Ringerike that was in the Civil War (as we know, Probably more). I needed more info regarding these I asked about and I got it here, Thanks again.

Re: People from Ringerike in the Civil War, America

Re: People from Ringerike in the Civil War, America
