I have having a problem with Internet Explorer and some of the online
genealogy databases, notably RootsWeb WorldConnect and LDS FamilySearch.
When I use the search forms to submit a query and get a list of possible
hits. Everything goes fine for the first hit I examine, but when I try
to navigate back to the original hit list, I get an error message saying
that the page cannot be displayed. If I refresh the page, I get a blank
search form and have to reenter my query from scratch.
I first noticed this after installing SP2, although that may be a red
herring. I have an old copy of Netscape that still works properly with
these pages, so I have a workaround, but I'd like to know if anyone know
how I can make IE6 work properly. It seems to do this only with
genealogy related databases.

Does it still have adequate disk cache? Click Tools-Internet

You're really good...
But wouldn't frequently using Disk Cleanup in System Tools accomplish
the same thing?
I increased my cache space anyhow!

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you. I had written here previously that I
had so many problems after installing SP2 that I decided to uninstall it
according to the instructions from microsoft; then my computer crashed. I lost
everything.

So you don't have to reload the list everytime, right-click on the record
and open in a new window or hold the shift key when clicking on the record
will force it to open in a new window. Makes it easy to compare multiple
possiblities.
