In 2009 I answered on internett and also sent e-mail to her, but there has been no respons.

Here at Lyngstad, Eide near Kristiansund, we have a man namned Olai Emil born 22 mai 1898. His parents were Erika Eriksdatter and Olaus Olsen Lyngstad. In the Australian Death Index they have written Claus Lyngstad instead of Olaus Lyngstad.
He was married in 1923 to Ingrid Martinsdatter Olsen from Drammen here in Norway. They lived in Drammen and had one son Alf Klifford Lyngstad born 1924 died 1987.
Olai Emil was a mechanic and sailed abroad. The last letter from him to his family is dated Yokohama, Japan 21 July 1925. The rumour here in Norway was that he settled in Australia. The family has searched for him there, but they could not find him.

My grandmother was cousin to Olai Emil.
His sister born in 1907 is still living here at Eide.

Emil Lyngstad who died 13 June 1940 in Queensland, must be the man born at Lyngstad in 1898.

I have looked up white pages in Australia and found 4 persons namned Lyngstad, but without first names.

What must I do to find his children and grandchildren in Australia?

On Ancestry.com there is a family tree where we can see that Emil Olav Lyngstad was married to Doreen Gilvarry, still living in Australia. Here we can read that he died 28 June 1933 in Cairns, Queensland and it confirm that he was born in 1898 with Erika Eriksdatter and Claus Lyngstad as parents.
According to Australia Death Index, 1787 - 1985, Emil Lyngstad died 13 June 1940.
Here we have 2 different days for his death .

The family tree showes that Doreen and Emil had at least one daughter married to Eric Dickens born 6 Desember 1926 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, and died in Harvey Bay, Queensland.
They have one daughter married to Kenneth Raymond Scutt born 29 May 1957 in Herberton, Queensland and died 2007 in Brisbane, Queensland. They have 3 sons.

Wedensday August 4. I phoned one of them, Michael, and he told me that he was a grandson to Emil.
Emil married in Australia and had 3 children: Margaret, Erica og Michael Olav. Erica and Michael is still alive in Australia.

The joy was great when I told Emil's sister, 103 years old, that I had found her brother and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
