A friend is reading a book which talks about an illigitimate daughter of
Wallis Simpson during her partnership? with Prince Edward. It is said that
the registration of the birth Emerald Fitzwallis was by order deleted from
the registration. Do you think this book is fictional or could it be based
on fact?

Too bad this magnificently named girl didn't have a later career as
grandmother to Prince Michael of Albany or the MacCarthy Mor.

also she had earlier an abortion which, so they say, prevented her from

And then there are rumours the Duke of Windsor could not do "IT" I think
that story is just a story.

Thanks Leo.

Don't be too sure she didn't, Nat.

In Wallis Simpson's circles the name Emerald belonged exclusively to
Lady Cunard. This sounds like a love child of the dinner table, born
from crossing champagne with brandy rather than tramp with prince.

Try asking on alt.talk.royalty; this is off-topic here.
