I ran across the following on the A2A and wonder if anyone in the
group can
shed some light on the customs of the times that might indicate what
the
relationship might have been between Laurence Wasshyngton and Johanna
Bonde: (For example would someone acting in the capacity of Laurence
Wasshyngton normally have been a family member, or guardian?)
.... said Johanna, daughter and heir of Robert Bonde, deceased, and
kinswoman >and heir of William Bonde, lately of Northampton, deceased,
....
Apparently Laurence Washington was one of the executors of the will of
Johanna's kinsman, William Bonde--
