COMPLEX INTERMARRIAGES IN FAMILY TREES

Legg inn av David Hepworth » 01 okt 2004 12:14:47

Hi All

I wonder if anyone can help me?

I am wanting to create a VERY complex family tree that shows ALL the
intermarriages between a number of families in the 1066-1350 period
and am wondering what the group's recommendations would be for
software for this. The IGI software (certainly the free one) isn't
good enough. I'm even wondering if there is anything out there that
"layers" different families in different colours.

Input would be appreciated.

Thanks

David

As for making a tree drawing that shows everybody, I
have a program that colors each instance of a person
who appears twice or more times the same color scheme,
and optionally draws lines between all of these boxes.
It is however only an ancestor tree, so if you don't have
a common descendant, you have to fake one. You can
customize the output in Powerpoint.

Let me know if you are interested.

aFrench company.
