This citizen family lived in the parish of S. Barnaba. The Dogolins,
or Dugolins, had as arms two rampant lions one in front of the other.
Zuane Dogolin da S. Barnaba was annexed to the Confraternity of S.
Giovanni Evangelista in 1459.
Marino Dogolin presented in 1537 to the X Savii his account of goods
(Condizione dei Proprii Beni), six houses in S. Barnaba.
Francesco, son of Marino, notified his goods in 1566, and died in
1582. His sister, Honesta Dogolin, married Domenico Zottarello, and
declared to have possesions in S. Barnaba, as heir of M. Cecilia
Dogolin (also a heir of M. Orsa Dogolin). Onesta died in 1596, living
his goods to the Sotarelo family.
