Meaning of Heirs - Thank-you

Hi List,

I would like to thank everyone who responded to my question about the
meaning of Heirs back in 1894. I am still working on Mary FIENNES
daughter of Gregory FIENNES, 10th Dacre and ????. I was hoping the
Will would mention Mary but it did not. It only seems to say that he
gave some of his property away already and that besides his wife, some
of his belongs, title and land and was to go to his Heirs and some to
Anne's (nee Sackville) Heirs. When I first started reading this, it
just went through my mind that he may have had children with other
women besides his wife, Anne and that would help a little bit with
Mary. I know, wishful thinking on my part. I cannot use the wills
for Gregory's parents as they died before Mary was born. I have not
found a Will yet for Anne on the England Archives website. I sure
wish there was one. I would think there would be since there was a
lot of land and other valuables, not to mention all that she brought
into the marriage. I still have work to do on this Will as there are
some _____ spaces where I have not quite figured out the words yet.

CP IV, p. 11, note (f) shows that she made a will dated Dec 1594 and
proved in 1595.

If you look up the A2A site and enter Anne Dacre for the search, you
will find the will in the Danny Archives of the East Sussex record
