Poyntz pedigrees

While looking thru some of the websites that Tony has links to on his
website, I did a search of Google books, and came across "Baronia Anglica
Concentrata" Starting on page 372, it has a brief biography of the Poyntz's, with
references to Dugdale at times. The reason I am asking, is that the book states
on page 373, per Dugdale, that Hugh Poyntz, son of Nicholas and Elizabeth
Zouche, was summoned to Parliament 11 Edw II to 7 Edw III, and died on Oct 13 &
Edw III, which was 1334 (I have Edw III crowned Feb 6 1327). It next states
that Nicholas Poyntz, his son and heir, was 17, and in 14 Edw III, performed
his homage, and being of age, had livery of his lands.
Is Dugdale reliable enough to use this info? BTW, for those who have not
seen this book, it does shows the Margaret Poyntz/John Newburgh marriage, and
has a 6 generation pedigree of the Newburgh line from that point. The pedigree
is a straight line descent to where Christian, dau of Roger(died 1514)
marries John Marney

The book does mention that even though Hugh was said to have died 7 Edw III,
he is mentioned in "all the writs from 11 Edw II to 17 EDW III" referring
to writs of summons to Parliament
