Cave, Feilding, St Liz etc

Last year mep asked a question about a Cave/Feilding connection. I
was lately working on the Cave family and can now answer that
question.

To wit, Mep asked whether Anne Feilding who was the daughter of
William Feilding d 1471 and Agnes St Liz; and who, this Anne, married
Humphrey Grey d 1499 and "aged 12" in 1460

whether this Anne was the same person as

the wife of Richard Cave of Pickwell, whom Mep also calls Anne
Feilding.

Short answer, no the wife of Richard Cave of Pickwell, Leics, was the
grand-neice of Anne (Feilding) Grey

Documentation on this line is a bit sparse on the ground so far but
both William Cave, canon, and John Cave, vicar have DNB entries which
see.
