Dear Mr/Mrs. Evans (I don't know, you do not sign your message, so how are
we to know?)
I can only presume this is addressed to me, but I think over a very long
time (about ten years) there are not many people who have produced more
genealogy than I have. Gen-Med is/was a wonderful meeting place and off-list
often even more genealogy was often persued. You do not seem to grasp the
value of "complaints about genealogy". If no-one "complained" lots of
garbage would be accepted as gospel. Have you been long enough on Gen-Med to
remember the Amy de Gaveston saga? Have you seen a medieval woman in Great
Britain with the first name of "Countess" ?
You do not seem to recognise my behaviour. I _react to_ I do not _act_
If no reason is given for re-acting, no-one would. Often it is so simple to
prevent _re-acting_ by simply explaining or withdrawing statements
"complaints" have been made about. "I am not sure, I will look it up" is a
great way to reply.
Lets keep it all in perspective.
With best wishes

Douglas, don't you know words can be spelled according what they do in
England? "Here in America" does not apply to me, I am "here in
Australia".
My dictionary gives "behaviour, in U.S. behavior" it seems they prefer
the
spelling I used. I also prefer colour.
And drama? Isn't it tragic will you _ever_ get those letters behind your
name? Will you ever be selected? (sigh)

Actually here in America we spell it "collegial behavior." But you
have the right idea.
As I have said many times, Richardson is a tragedy.
Egad, what drama!

Are you here for the drama or for the genealogy?
Because you produce a lot of the former and not much but complaints
about the latter.
