Dear Doug,
Please explain what point you are making. Audrey Barlow, the person in
question, is not a descendant of Edward III nor Robert III.
I find disappointing the attitude that _only_ Plantagenet kings and Magna
Carfta sureties are of interest. Not even William the Conqueror has a look
in, and Charlemagne? Well, who wants to about him when you have the
Plantagenets? To me it seems weird as Geoffrey of Anjou (the originator of
the Plantagenet term) in history was only a bit player, whereas William the
Conqueror shaped the history of England and the Anglo-Saxon world.
And Charlemagne brought Europe out of the dark ages, but who cares when you
have Magna Carta Sureties? I feel the approach is lopsided and if "Medieval
History and Genealogy" is only about Plantagenet kings and Magna Carta
Sureties, no wonder European contributors stay away in droves. Oh yes, you
were saying? Please explain the point you are making.
With best wishes
