Ancestor Prince Charles Puzzle

Gerald Paget in his monumental work on the ancestors of Prince Charles shows

Q 117473 Piers de Legh, of Lyme, died 10 August 1399
Q 117474 Margaret Danyers, died 24 June 1428

P 58737 John Leigh, of Ridge, mentioned in 1452

Someone made me aware of
1. A History of Walsall and its Neighbourhood by Frederic William Wilmore, published 1887
and on page 268 tells that the wife of Piers de Legh (and mother of his son) really was Cecilia del Hugh
the son is here called Johannes

2.The Visitation of Cheshire in the Year 1580 by Robert Glover, William Flower etc., published 1882
shows that the wife of Piers was Ciceley Hagh
here the son is called Jenkin

Can anyone establish what is correct?

With many thanks.
