California Death Index beyond 1997
Is there an index site I can go to to search for:
John M. Dripps
b. 1-Mar-1961
d. 10-Jul-1998
I am trying to determine whether or not he died in California.
Ancestry.com has the California Death Index through 1997.

Coincidence?? PeopleFinders shows a John M. Dripps, age 46, with
associated locations -- Mesa, AZ; Millbrae, CA; Burnsville, MN; and Phoenix,
AZ. Possible relatives are listed as Irene Dripps, Joyce E. Blaine (age
80), and Harold Edward Dripps (age 77). Do the place names and/or
"relatives" ring a bell? If so, maybe they will help you focus your search.

No, I am not researching the Dripps line. As unusual as this might
sound, I locate classmates for my class reunions. In discussing this
with my dentist recently, he asked if I could locate a very good friend

I do believe I have an address and phone for the father.
