I Lands kirkebok, finnes jeg konfirmasjonen 4/10 1846 av Torvald H. C. Testman, f. 17/4 1831. Han var sønnen av Johan P. Testmann og Maria Sørine. Søk opplysinger om Torvalds foreldre. Kanskje faren til JPT var Johan Peter Johansen Testmann f. ca. 1752, Skogn, N-T?

Thorvald H. C. Testman was g2g with my great grandaunt. I cannot help with any definitive information about his parentage, but suspect that his father was Johan Peter Testman also. Are you related?

Regarding #12, in 1801, there was a Johan Peter Testman living with his grandfather, also named Johan Peter Testman. The grandson was shown as 5 years and was identified as the grandfather's son's son. Of the several Johan Peter Testmans I have found, he would be the right age to be Thorvald's father, but of course need some way to tie them together.

The Testmans may all descend from Johan Christopher Testmann, born ca. 1650 in Rendsburg, Schleswig, then part of Denmark. He married Isabella Dorothea Pedersdatter Jessen, born ca. 1665 in Christiania.
