What relationship to a family tree would a mothers brother (uncles) wife's
parents be if any? Does it end with the Aunt & Uncles children? Where is
the best place to get a relationship chart?
Thanks

A (non-blood related) great aunt and great uncle, but the non-blood

bit will probably cause most family tree charting software to ignore
them if the "root" of the chart is the great niece/nephew.

Not a stupid question at all.

I would think that the parents of an uncle or aunt that married into the
family would have no title. Although you could put up a good arguement
that theyre Great Uncles or Aunts.

I asked this question to my parents years ago (basically on the same
lines), theyre response was, "They have no relation to you".

Thoughts?

Try checking out: http://oakroadsystems.com/genl/relation.htm

they've certainly made a serious if slightly confusing attempt at it.

Standard Anglo style relationship chart sent off-list.

THANKS for all the input, problem is, there are as many who say yes, as say
no. Thanks for the listing of sites to check out as well.

As a child, I found it astounding that my two sets of grandparents
were no relation to each other and, living about 200 miles apart, had
scarcely ever even met.
