I've been told of an Albert LITTLE (that being his stepfather's
surname) who fits rather nicely but may not be Dear Cousin Albert as
there are some Albert LITTLEs of the same age.
The details I have are:
LITTLE, Albert - English - Date of Arrival - July 26, 1893 - Age 18 -
Ship of Travel - Teutonic - Port of Departure - Liverpool
The age is right and a Liverpool departure would most likely mean a
call into Ireland en route.
I'ved also been told of another one:
LITTLE, Albert - English - Last Place of Residence - Liverpool - Date
of Arrival - July 20, 1892
Age - 26 Ship of Travel - Majestic (1890) - Port of Departure -
Liverpool & Queenstown
The age is out on this one, but when did Dear Cousin Albert ever tell
the whole truth anyway?? <G>
Can anyone find either or both of these gentlemen on the 1900 or 1910
censuses please? I'm not holding my breath that either will be mine
but there's always the possibility that one might be. The dates of
departure fit with what Bob Heiling expected. (Story in sig file link
for anyone unfamiliar with it or who needs a recap)
