I take it that you read the Terms of use, in particular part 2 of
point 5, Proprietary Rights in Content, which says:

By publishing, displaying, or uploading (collectively, "Posting") any
Content on or to the Geni Website (including on or to your profile),
you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have
the right to grant, to Geni an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive,
fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and
distribute such Content and to prepare derivative works of, or
incorporate into other works, such Content, and to grant and authorize
sublicenses of the foregoing.
