MS InfoPath and genealogy

Legg inn av Paul Blair » 12 okt 2005 10:45:22

G'day to everyone...

I've never really had time to play with InfoPath, the MS inclusion with
Office 2003/11.

With a couple of spare days, I had time to poke and prod a bit.

I used a Legacy database table as my data source - a couple of gotchas
in doing this, but I was able to devise a crude input form, and poke a
few sample individuals into the file in a quasi-XML sort of way... This
is *not* how it should be done, but the learning experience was good.

Anyone else out there in the MS woods?

You can buy it on its own, or via an Enterprise edition of Office.
