Test of gedcom (Ancestor Quest ...)

Hello,

I am testing softwares during the import-export of a file gedcom (5.5),
and only it.

The principle of the test is simple:

- Creation of an empty base
- Import of the Gedcom file
- Export of the base obtained in a gedcom file.
Or
- Creation of a base by importing a gedcom file
- Export of the base obtained in a gedcom file.


I am interested by test on the following programs:

- Ancestor Quest,

- Lifelines

- and also
Familia Builder,
Genius Family Tree,
Genealogos,
WinGenealogic.


Those that are interested can contact me: [email protected]

I shall send them a gedcom and they will return me the result of the
export.

I was about to suggest you first look at

http://www.mumford.ca/reportcard/
but most of those programs you mention are unknown to me -- who
publishes them, and what machines do they run on (could they be common
programs renamed for foreign [non-US] sales?)

Of your list, Ancestral Quest is the only one on the mumford

report card site (though I see that the site has changed much since the
first time I saw it -- for the worse, in my opinion).

The only French program I've heard of is Heredis.

your test-file content there. I'll give it a try and
see how GenealogyJ handles it.
