Search engine comparison for genealogy terms

Hi all,
After all these years on the web, I just recently
found out about alltheweb.com and boy was I pleasantly
surprised!
Just out of curiosity, I did an informal survey
between the two best search engines (IMHO) to see how
they compare with genealogy search words. I wanted
to see how many total pages were indexed for each one.
You may be surprised at the results:

SEARCH WORD(S) GOOGLE.COM ALLTHEWEB.COM
============== ========== =============
marriages 6,240,000 8,690,000
obituaries 55,400,000 39,600,000
"death notices" 2,620,000 4,200,000
"marriage records" 848,000 877,000
"ship passenger lists" 910 2,070
"census transcription" 361,000 28,200
"birth records" 388,000 692,000

Now when you put a surname in with the phrase, you
can also see which one produces the most results.
I've been using Google all this time...and probably
still will, but I can see now that I've been missing
out on a very good resource with AllTheWeb.com.
Hope this research helps someone else as it has me.

One difference can be that google will find a page
even if the searched word is not there, i.e. it can be
in the description of a link.

If you type genealogy and a name, you can find pages
where the genealogy word is missing.
