I recently upgraded to Legacy deluxe, and one thing I hoped would be in the
deluxe edition, that is not in the standard one (as far as I can see) is the
possibility of making "list" reports.
Am I missing something?
Is this feature just well hiden, and I just haven't found it yet?
I want to be able to produce a list of tagged individuals, with dates of birth
(or even lifespans), and posibly parents' names.
Next month I hope to visit some of the places where ancestors came from, and
what I want is to be able to tag everyone who lived in a place, and print a
list of that information, sorted either in alphabetical or date order.
Is there a way of doing that in Legacy?
I certainly used to be able to do it in PAF.

I'd say well-hidden. I just spent some time playing with Legacy (I have
4.0 Deluxe). If I've understood your question correctly, I think I've
figured out how to do it.
I'm assuming you don't need help with tagging the individuals. If this
is incorrect, please let me know.
Go to the Name List.
Select Search | All Tagged | Tag # Individuals (whichever tag you need).
Select Print.
Under "Fields", select the birth date, father, mother, etc.
Under "Options", select the formatting you want.
Is this what you wanted?

It's in the Name List - click on the Print button. Whichever
individuals are showing in the name list or search list will be the
ones to print to the Name List Report. So if you want to print just
tagged individuals, in the Name List, go to Search > Show All Tagged
and bring up that list then click on print. You can select which
fields you want to include.

the report you are looking for. The key is that the list can only
be printed from the Name List so select that from the tool bar
after first marking all the individuals you want to include with
tags.
Below the list of names you will see a series of buttons
including Search and Print
First use the Search option to select only the individuals with
the Tag number you used earlier.
Then Use the Print button to call up the print options. On that
window you can select up to 3 rows of data to print on each
person and there is a customize button to allow you to select the
data to include.
Hope this does what you intend.
